After running some diagnostics I believe the issue is with the canister but I'm having trouble finding it. I’m seeing a P0441 code without any check engine light. I saw a video that mentions it being behind the manifold could that be the right location?

@Zacch For a P0441 code, while the purge valve is often in the engine bay, the actual vapor canister (charcoal canister) is usually located elsewhere.
A video mentioning "behind the manifold" might have been referring to the purge valve, not the canister itself.
You'll need to check your vehicle's specific service manual or an online diagram for the exact location of the canister. Look for a black plastic box with several hoses attached.

Just got my first 2020 Soul and trying to learn. For a P0441 code, how do I know if it's the purge valve or the canister causing the issue? And if I find the canister, is there a way to test if it's bad without replacing it right away?
