Grinding into 2nd gear

Wondering if anyone else with a 2021 Kia Soul LX has experienced this. Lately, I've been getting a noticeable grind when shifting from 1st to 2nd, especially when the car is cold. It's not every time, but it's happening more frequently. All other gears seem fine. Car's got about 45k miles on it. Just wondering if this is a known issue, or if I should be bracing for a clutch or synchro replacement. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Not really a big issue, try to check your transmission fluid and see if it needs replacing

Grinding from 1st to 2nd when cold isnt super common but does happen, usually its worn synchros or a clutch issue. At 45k miles, it could be early signs, so keep an eye on it. Check your clutch and fluid, and if it keeps getting worse, you might need a repair soon. Better to catch it early than let it get worse.

Mine started around 60k miles, and a fluid change helped a bit. Have you checked if it's still the original transmission fluid? Also curious, does it grind less if you double-clutch or shift slower?
